Managing GPU Resource

KS / KS 5000U / KSi 5024U

You can manage GPU resource by using IEC GPU Group function in Virtual Machine function. It allows users to create a collection of virtual machines (VMs) that utilize one or more graphics processing units (GPUs) to enhance performance for computationally intensive tasks. This feature enables efficient resource sharing among VMs, allowing them to leverage the parallel processing capabilities of GPUs for applications such as machine learning, 3D rendering, and high-performance computing.

Procedure

  1. Go to EonKube > Virtualization > GPUs.
    • By default, each GPU group displays the GPU model name. If the GPU model cannot be identified, it will display as 'Default Group'.
  2. Select one or more GPU from the list which you would like to group.
  3. Click on the button Assign Group on the Top.
    • You could also click ⋮ at right side of GPU list to find the Assign Group in the drop options.
  4. In Assign Group window, select an existing GPU Group or create a new group.
  5. Click apply to complete setting.
Note:

If you have a hardware change or update, select the GPUs and click on the Refresh button to update GPU status before management.
