Adding a StorageClass

KS / KS 5000U / KSi 5024U

Procedure

  1. Go to EonOne for KS > Settings > Storage > External storage.
  2. From the list of the storage device, select a device.
  3. Click Manage StorageClasses.
  4. Go to the Manage StorageClasses page. Click Add a StorageClass.
  5. When connecting to a GS, choose one or more pools / disk pools on the device. If needed, click Add pool / Add disk pool.
    When connecting to a GSx, choose a drive type: HDD, SSD, or Tier.
  6. Specify an identifying name for the StorageClass.
  7. When connecting to a GS/GSx, mount the device via NFSv4.
    Note:

    On the storage device, make sure NFS is enabled.

  8. Click OK.
