To support more users’ access the application and enhance application performance you can scale up an application to increase the number of replica and resources. The same steps can be applied to scaling down an application for resource optimization purposes.

Procedure

1. Go to EonKube > Apps > Installed Apps.
2. Locate the application that you want to Scaling.
3. In the top right-hand corner, click ⋮ > Edit/Upgrade.
4. At the Update: Step 1 page. Keep the version, click Next
5. At the Update: Step 2 > General tab, set the app metadata:
   • App replicas: increase the value such as update the value from 1 to 2
   • (Optional) CPU Minimum Require: keep the value or increase the value
   • CPU Upper Limit: increase the value (ex: double the value if replica doubled)
   • (Optional) Memory Minimum Require: keep the value or increase the value
   • Memory Upper Limit: increase the value (ex: double the value if replica doubled)
6. Click Update to initiate the application update process.
