General Information Checking

KS / KS 5000U / KSi 5008U

When using IEC, maintainers can efficiently monitor and manage Kubernetes clusters through the dashboards available on EonKube or EonOne for KS. For detailed information on monitoring the cluster dashboard on EonKube, please refer to the section titled Monitoring Cluster Dashboard.

In this chapter, we will guide you through checking the dashboard on EonOne for KS, which provides comprehensive insights into the cluster's health, performance, and resource utilization, making it easier to maintain optimal operations.

  1. Login to EonOne for KS, check KS status from the dashboard.
  2. Check the information on the dashboard of each block General, Overview, Resource usage, Performance and Even log.
    • General: Check the Management IP, Temperature, Uptime information and Status of the clusters. Click on Details to see more information. Status will show as below.
      • Healthy: KS is working normally
      • Shutdown: KS is shutdown
      • Warning: When the KS contains encountered node failure
    • Overview: Quick links to Nodes, Persistent Volumes, EonKube and Backup & restore Page.
      • To view and manage the nodes, click Node to gain the overview of node settings.
      • To view and manage the persistent volume (PV), click Persistent volumes to gain the overview of PV settings.
      • To access the management interface of apps and workloads, click EonKube.
      • To back up and restore the resources, click Kubernetes Backup & Restore. For more details.
    • Resource Usage: Check the capacity usage of CPU/Memory and GPU. Click on Details or Monitor on toolbar to see more information.
    • Performance: Monitoring the Performance of the system. Click on Details to see more information. You could also click on the Monitor tab on the toolbar to view more.
    • Event log: View the event logs helps you monitor the system status and do quick troubleshooting. It shows the information below
      • Level: Check the event's severity level (in decreasing order):
        • Critical error: An event requiring immediate action
        • Error: An event requiring attention and action
        • Warning: An event requiring attention
        • Information: A normal event
      • Reporter: Check the general event occurrence site: Cluster or Node.
      • Event: Check the detailed event description.
